I’ve had this idea in the back of my mind for a few years. Now, I finally have the time to make it real! I’m also thinking about doing more reversible Pokemon tutorials like Eevee and Flareon etc. I’m not sure when I’ll get around to that though.

Materials
- Medium weight yarn in
yellow,
burnt orange,

IMPORTANT: use the same brand and weight for all yarns!!!!! Both Pikachu and Raichu must be the same size! - Crochet hook compatible with your yarn

Assembly
Sew the bodies together
1. Turn Pikachu’s body inside out.
2. Place it in Raichu’s body. Make sure to line up the cheeks, eyes, and other features so they’re both facing the same direction.
3. Sew the bottom of the bodies together using a whip stitch. You can use either yellow, or burnt orange yarn to sew. Make sure not to pull too tightly, or it will become difficult to flip inside out.
4. OPTIONAL: You can insert a layer of toy stuffing between the bodies to help fill them out, but be careful not to use too much, or it won’t be able to turn inside out.
Sew the arms, ears and tails
*Sew all of the parts for Raichu before flipping over and sewing the parts for Pikachu
Raichu:
*Make sure you’re only sewing through the Raichu layer, not all the way through to the Pikachu layer.
Belly: Pin Raichu’s belly in place. Sew it to the body using white yarn and a whip stitch. Don’t pull the yarn too tight, or it will become difficult to flip inside out.
Ears: Pin Raichu’s ears in place and sew the lower half to the head using yellow yarn and a running stitch. Leave the top of the ears loose, don’t sew them flat to the head.
Arms: Pin the arms in place and sew them on using burn orange yarn and a whip stitch. Attach the bottom of the arms also so they can’t move.
Tail: Sew the tail in place using black yarn and a whip stitch. Only sew the black part of the tail to the body, leave the rest of the tail loose.
Back Stripes: Thread your needle with yellow yarn and sew two long stitches across the back to form the stripes.
Pikachu:
Ears: Pin Pikachu’s ears in place and sew them to the head using yellow yarn and a whip stitch.
Arms: Pin the arms in place and sew them on using yellow yarn and a whip stitch. Attach the bottom of the arms also so they can’t move.
Tail: Sew the tail in place using burnt orange yarn and a whip stitch. Only sew the bottom of the tail to the body, leave the rest of the tail loose.
