Porg Crochet Pattern With Video Tutorial

I have been getting so many requests for a Porg pattern lately, I’ve lost count! I’m going to be honest, I don’t like Star Wars.  I was checking my watch every ten minutes during Last Jedi, but I aim to please so here it is!

I have also been experimenting with a new format for these tutorials to make them shorter.  One of my goals for 2018 is to make more tutorials, but that will be hard to achieve unless the run time is cut drastically.  Let me know in the comments what you think of the new format.  Should I add some neutral background music?

Stuff the head a little so you can see roughly how big it will be once fully stuffed.

Attach the eyes through the cheeks AND through the head so they are attached through both layers, this will prevent the eyes from protruding too much.  Since the snout and cheeks aren’t sewn on yet make sure you count the number of stitches between where the eyes are entering the head.  I attached my eyes 10 stitches apart.

Stuff the head and body

28. (SC 1, INV DEC) x 6 (12)

Sew through the front loop of each remaining stitch and pull tight to close
