Snorelax Crochet Pattern with Video Tutorial

This is by far my most complex pattern yet! Don’t let all of the steps and color changes scare you away from trying it. I’ve tried to format the pattern to make the more complicated rounds easier to understand by breaking them down into smaller steps.

MATERIALS:

  • Medium – 4 worsted weight yarn in:
  • Navy blue, for the body
  • Cream, for the body
  • Brown, for the feet
  • Black for the face
  • White for the claws
  • Tapestry needle big enough to fit your yarn
  • Toy Stuffing
  • TERMS:

    • CH: Chain
    • CTB: Change to Blue
    • CTC: Change to Cream
    • FL INC: Front Loop Increase
    • FO: Finish off
    • INC: Increase (Single Crochet 2 in 1 stitch) INV DEC: Invisible decrease
    • RNDS: Rounds
    • SC: Single Crochet
    • SLST: Slip stitch
    • ST: Stitch

In this pattern you will see some rounds with a, b, c etc, parts. This is because the round requires several changes and listing them as a, b, c etc. makes it easier to understand where those changes occur.

    1. Hi!
I’m gonna start up a little busniess to sell crochted items and one of the things I’ve enjoyed making in the past is your Snorlax. And I’m wondering if I’m allowed to sell the products I make and credit you for the lovely pattern?

I hope to hear from you

    2. Hi, i think I found a round end count error on the feet, specifically between rows 8 and 9, it says they should both end with 24 stitches after 6 decreases in row 9

    3. Hi there. Please would you tell me how much yarn you used? Is one skein of the navy yarn enough for the body?

    4. Unfortunately, I didn’t save that pattern 😓. When I created this pattern I decided it looked better without the extra blue stitch.

    5. Hey could you give me the pattern for the old head shape (starting with 3 stitches cream and having that one blue single stitch at the bottom). I tried altering the pattern myself but I failed and messed something up 😐
