Dragonite is one of my most requested patterns. I aim to please, so here it is!
MATERIALS:
- Medium – 4 worsted weight yarn in orange, cream, and blue
- Light – 3 baby weight yarn in white
- 1 pair of 18 mm safety eyes
- Sewing needle large enough to fit your yarn

- Sew the inner and out wing together by sewing through the back loop of the inner wing into the front loop of the outer wing.

EYEBROW CURLS (make 2):
Cream yarn
1. CH 13, turn
2. SC 12

ASSEMBLY:
ARMS:
1. Thread your tapestry needle with orange yarn.
2. Before you sew on the arm, refer to the photo above. Make sure you squeeze the top of the arm together, as shown in the photo, so that it can move around a little once it’s sewn on. Pin the arm in place.
3. Use a whip stitch and sew through both sides of the arm into the crease between the neck and body.

LEGS:
1. Thread your tapestry needle with orange yarn and pin the legs/tail/horn in place as shown in the photo above.
2. Sew on the legs/tail/horn by threading your yarn up through a stitch on the body then directly up into the legs/tail/horn.
3. Thread the yarn through the back of the leg/tail/horn, then come out through the front.
4. Thread the yarn back into the same stitch on the body where you originally came out.
5. Move over to the next stitch and repeat until the it is completely sewn in place.

WINGS:
1. Thread your tapestry needle with orange yarn.
2. Sew the wings to the body using a whip stitch.
EYEBROW CURLS:
1. Thread your tapestry needle with cream yarn.
2. Sew the eyebrow curls above the eyes using a whip stitch. Only sew half of the curl to the head, leave the other half free.
This is adorable! The orange I used was a little bit too orange, but I just didn’t make the noodles or head thorn and slip stitched and brushed out a little red, orange and yellow yarn. Poof! Charizard!
